no data connection on giffgaff but I can make calls and txt

I bought the iPhone4 off my mate which was on a o2 contract and he never paid the bill
and could of o2 blocked 3g data connection and therefore do I need a Gevey Ultra Supreme sin to unlock it
The phone is on giffgaff and has been working fine for 6 weeks on there o2 carrier....
and I can make calls and txt only no internet at all since last Saturday...
maybe gifffgaff are the problem as They have a data problem at the moment while they are implementing blackberry's
to there service..and before anyone suggest my settings are correct........and setup to giffgaff..

I would try doing a hard reset witch is holding down the sleep and home buttons at the same time untill you see the Apple logo and then let go. If this doesnt work your next move would probably to contact the carrier and have them trouble shoot it for you.
