need helpy guys i would like to re-jailbreak, so just need advice?

ok im on 4.1 on iphone 4 and with a baseband of 2.10.summit lol

and i used make my life easir on cydia and also downloaded shshhit

my phones gone pretty jerky and safari shuts off at random times,

so i would like to re-jailbreak,

how do it do it? what things do i nned to know?

Your purchased Cydia apps can just be re- downloaded again. No problem.

If you just erase all contents and settings you not really restoring. You only need SHSH's if you restore through iTunes because iTunes won't let you restore to an earlier firmware...

so for some reason tiny umbrella not working so i used shsh hit to back up file then email it to my hotmail, so now do i just restore and thn jailbreak?

Easiest way to do it. Press the make my life easier button in cydia. Make sure the request is not still pending. It should be in green writing at the top of cydia.

Go to C:Windows\System32\drivers\etc and open the file 'hosts' with notepad. At the bottom on a new line copy and paste this;

74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com

This will trick iTunes in thinking it's connecting to apple. Before you go any further you need to put your phone in DFU mode. Use greenpoision to guide you through it.

Connect you phone to your computer and iTunes will tell you it's detected a phone in DFU/recovery mode. Now hold down the shift key and click restore. Show iTunes your downloaded 4.1 firmware file and click open. Let iTunes restore your phone. After the restore it's most likely you will an error. iTunes could not restore this iPhone. Don't panic. Just use tiny umbrella to kick it out of recovery and let iTunes activate your phone...

on the top of cydia it says shsh: ios 4.1, 4.2.1, 4.2b3 looks kinda greenish lol

what the hell and unkown error 1004 jus came what should i do?

well some mobile me thing stopped working but it has restored, checked everything and it is still 4.1 and baseband the same too, going to try jailbreak it now,

before i just kicked it out of recovery

Error 1004 is normal. Just use tiny umbrella to kick it out of recovery.

If you had mobile me set up for find my iPhone then it won't work on 4.1 unless you've paid for it because it's free on 4.2.1...
