Need Help to convert from iPhone 3gs to 4

I need help with conversion. Here is what I did:
1. Synced 3GS with iTunes (phone name was "vic's iPhone")
2. Activated iPhone 4
3. During activation it asked me to create phone name. By mistake I typed "Victor's iPhone" instead of "vic's iPhone"
4. Attempted to sync with iTunes.
5. iTunes stated that it will replace 4 with another phone's backup.

As a result, everything is wrong on my iPhone 4. My iPhone 3GS data did NOT transfer to iPhone 4.

How do I create iPhone 4 with the same name as my 3GS was so it will sync with "vic's iPhone" instead of "Victor's iPhone"? How do I change the name of my iPhone 4 in iTunes?

When I hot synced, I got the same message asking if I wanted to overwrite from another phone. I answered yes, because I wanted apps and data from my old phone. It synced. You might try Time Machine to go back and hot sync again.

Thank you. But it's too late. iTunes has 2 different devices, and I don't know how to switch between them. iTunes automatically recognizes my iPhone 4 as "Victor's iPhone". I want this to stop. I want to kill "Victor's iPhone" device in iTunes, then connect my iPhone 4 and choose "vic's iPhone" to sync with. I need an experienced tech suport person to guide me thru the process.
