Navigate from Maps question

I'm coming from a droid and used google maps which was pretty nice. I didn't use it that much but when I did it worked great.

I've seen quite a few people mention Navigate from Maps. I went into Cydia and it says that I need TomTom in order to make it work.

I guess I'm kinda confused. If I install Navigate from Maps will it give me turn by turn navigation when i go into Maps?? Do I need to download anything else??

I guess at the end of the day I'm looking for a turn by turn option.
