Midway Launches Arcade App for iOS

Interactive Entertainment has just made retro gamers very happy with the launch of Midway Arcade for iOS, a compilation of 10 classic arcade titles for your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. The game aims to provide the ultimate arcade experience, with a virtual showroom featuring the classic arcade games such as Spy Hunter, Joust, and Rampage, as well as tickets and virtual prizes. Other skill-based games featured in the collection include Pool, Air Hockey, Roll Ball and Basketball. Aside from the pre-loaded games, players will also get the chance to download further Midway classics as in-app purchases, including a Fantasy Game Pack featuring Gauntlet I and Gauntlet II, as well as Wizard of Wor, and an Action Game Pack containing APB, NARC and Total Carnage. Players will also be able to earn achievements, compete against their friends, and view their progress on the leaderboards.[/FONT]
