Hi, yesterday my i phone4 , all of a sudden became dead, wouldnt switch on, plug charger in, nothing.
After going through a period of complete panic, i held the round button in & the on button depressed for about 10 to 15 seconds & the phone came to life.
Any ideas what happened ? If it happens again WHAT SHOULD i do ?

It's just one of those things. The iPhone is like a computer sometimes it freezes and you just need to restart it. If you feel like it's happening a lot or when you do a particular thing then take it back to apple...
