lost blocked phone

I have a freind who is going through a divorce, she kept photos, voice recordings ect on her iPhone of the abuse subjected her to. He however has locked the phone using find my iPhone. Now she can't access the phone. Is there anyway she could get the phone unblocked, either by apple or anyone else as it has all her evidence for the divorce

She should be able to disable Lost Mode an unblock the device using a computer, if the iCloud ID used to block her device was hers.

If she can prove that it's her iPhone (billing), Apple could help her unblock it.

Otherwise the information will be lost, and she won't be able to access it. She won't have access to that information in any case, if he used Find my iPhone to erase the device.

Well, if he was able to lock the iphone he was also able to erase the iphone. I hope your friend has a backup that he can not access.
