hello everyone.
i was using my iphone normally, and all of a sudden it locks itself and as i slide to unlock, it prompts me to enter a passcode. the problem is that i have never set a passcode on it before. please help! what's going on!?

So you mean that the iPhone self setup the screen lock password? Whatever is going on, you will have to remember what that password is. There is no other way around.

Do you have children or a spouse in the home with you? Maybe one of them set up a password on your phone.
