LifeProof gen 2

Does anyone have the LifeProof gen 2 that also has the gen 1 to compare them to each other? I love my gen 1 but I was goin to get my wife one but if all they did was add 2 bumpers by the volume buttons and $10 then that's kinda BS. Especially if they discontinued the gen 1. So what's yalls opinions of the gen 2?

Ya thats the only difference from what I could tell. I have the gen2. The bumpers actually protect the buttons on the side quite well. I would rather be safe than sorry if/when my phone falls and happens to land on that side.

I love my case so far. The one thing that bugs me is screwing in the headphone jack everytime I want to put my ear buds in. Yes, the stock iPhone headphones Fit in the jack without an adapter, but those regular earphones hurt my ears sooo bad.

All in all I think this case is well worth the 85 bucks. It's basically extra insurance cause I know That nothing's going to break my phone now. Oh and freakin people out at parties when they see your phone get wet is priceless!
