Pet Nanny is a cute and handy new app released for iPhone that is designed to help pet owners take care of their fluffy and feathered charges in a fun way. Users can manage and share all sorts of useful information about their pets, from veterinary appointments to birthdays and play dates. The app was originally designed so that pet owners could convey their wishes about how they wanted their pet looked after to sitters, but has grown to become something much more. The app basically stores any and all vital information you can think of about your pet, including weight, medication and appointments. It also includes a diet section, where you can track your pet’s food brands, food servings and feeding schedules, and a medical section, where you can store your pet’s medical history, medications, treatment schedules and special needs.

It’s not all dry factual stuff though, you can also use the app to share fun things about your pet, including sending pet photos and pet audio to the Pet Nanny profile where it can be shared via Facebook, Twitter and email.

You can download the Pet Nanny app here for $2.99/£1.79.
