Correct, I get 3194 error code. It is at that point I start using tiny-umbrella TTS server to restore which gives me error code 2005.

Are you sure you enter DFU mode (black screen) or PWNED DFU (also black screen), or Recovety mode( iTunes cable logo)? If one of these...which one?

Have you tried the DFU restore when your computer is in Safe Mode?

No I have not, I will give it a try as it can't make things worse.

Ok so this is offical. I tryed this method 1000 F'ing times and this time it worked without a problem. I now have 5.1 thanks for all the help

fabled so you were able to preserve your baseband?? the 4.10.01 ?? or did you just update without it? also which method worked for you?? the safemode one?
