Jailbreaking effect phones GPS?

I'm asking this question, because my friend had his phone jailbroken and he noticed issues with his GPS. I'm curious to know if you guys had any issues with this

Hasnt effected mine and I'm a courier so used it a lot while jailbroken for gps navigating ( until I got sick of having to run the air conditioner in the car all the time to stop the phone overheating and turning off - Aussie summers I guess lol)

The only way you can effect your GPS is if you install the iPad baseband in order to unlock. The act of jailbreaking, itself, will not do anything to GPS.
