Just a quick question, does your iPhone 4/4S make a rattling sound near the camera? and if you tap it near the bottom right hand corner (see picture) does it make a faint humming sound (much like the vibrating sound).

Mine (iPhone 4 CDMA) makes a slight rattling sound when tapping near the camera.

The humming sound near the bottom....no.

My phone Didnt use to make the slight style next to my camera.

I have dropped it like a million times. Surprising how thought these precious glass phones really are.lol.

But I would go to an Apple Storw or contact your carrier and tell them about this, and they will replace it it is not normal.

The only issue is that the apple store is 80 miles away. one way. That is like 40 dollars just in gas.

You should do a search first this has been talked about a thousand times. Its normal for your phone to have this rattle sound more iphones have this than ones that dont so dont worry about it.
The rattle sound near the camera is normal the other issue at the bottom thats not normal.

Yeppers. Really normal on the iPhone 4 series.

The camera sound is actually from something on the back side of the front speaker that is sometimes loose on phones. There is no rhyme or reason why some phones do it and others don't .

The bottom vibration is from the motorized feedback system. By tapping it you are causing it to oscillate on its axle. Since the feedback is done by a offset weight system it should probably vibrate for 2 or 3 times before settling down. If you keep the phone in your front pocket a lot and you are a heavy heel-toe walker, it will vibrate every so slightly and you have to learn to ignore. Guess how I know that ;)
