I just replaced the lcd screen on my 1phone 4 and while the phone powers on and the screen responds to touch properly the screen is too bright and "washed out", it's almost unreadable (it's a pale blue color). There is also a black dot in the upper right hand corner and I can just make out faint horizontal lines across the screen. I have not been able to run the complete setup yet until I get a new sim card.
Does this sound like a defective screen or more like I did something wrong during the replacement? I was extremely careful to make sure nothing was torn and that all the connections were solid but you never know.
