Is there any way to diagnose my iphone?

I bought a iphone 5 gsm a month back but now a days my phone sometimes returns to my home screen when i am changing my settings moreover my it beeps and vibrates suddenly without any notifications. Is there any problem with the phone and is there any way to diagnose it or check it for problems using a software???

Actually it would be a faster to simply do a restore of the software. Which usually clears this type of issue up.
