20 years ago today Steve Jobs introduced the first iPod. It had a 5gb hard drive, LCD screen and a click wheel to navigate through your music.

I still have my iPod Video version 5.5 - first Apple device I ever purchased, and it still works…!!! [emoji33]

Bought it sometime in summer 2005 or 2006, I think. It spent its operational life plugged into my Mazda MX-3 right up to when I sold the over car 8 years ago. I had a rather well appointed Kenwood Stereo that was designed to work with that type of iPod - had a remote controller too, so it literally never got physically touched or handled. Ah, the joys of iPod music on the road!!
