Iphone xr earpiece

Hi all i have an xr iphone and it has an audio problem when the taking the ring tone is
good and very clear when i answer i can hardly hear the caller i have reset the phone
and updated it also had a fiddle with the settings and cleaned the earpiece but no
difference anyone have any suggestions

While on the call, try increasing the volume with the volume up button. Doing this when not on the call does not affect the volume during calls. Button use is tied to active function.
