IPhone wouldn't charge

I couldn't charge my iPhone from any charger so I rebooted. What would cause that? Thanks.

Is it a third party charger.

Have you try a different USB cable? Specially if is aftermarket stuff.

No, it's only the chargers that came with my iPhone and iPad. No after-market stuff.

If you're still in warranty i would suggest making a genius bar appt. Might have a bad battery.

It's a three-year-old 3G and my contract is now up so I'm looking at upgrading. Will they replace the battery on this phone? I'm considering continuing to use it.

Ok. Now that you said that. You might want to replace the battery yourself. Ifixit.com has some good guides how to do this.
