iphone verizon 4 QUESTION! help!

So i am studying abroad for a couple of months in italy! and i was wondering if i freeze my account with verizon for a couple of months.....can i still use my wireless in italy? and use my skype app to make calls ?
help ! please

You can always use wifi...

All apps besides phone and texting is usable with wifi. I suggest you get an app like "what's app" which is a texting program using data (which you can use abroad using wifi) to still text.
A good buddy of mine is in Haiti right now helping out and we text all the time using what's app

Or just download the several free apps that do the same thing. Like TextPlus or TextFree.

Hmmm.. well it worked in the states, now to see if it works internationally

hey try line2. it's a VoIP that works well over wifi. it calls internationally and texts. you even get to choose a number but they have rates tho. it's pay as you go.
