iPhone updated then restored iTunes from old backup

I updated my iPhone 4 to 4.3.2. Then after a crash, I restored my Win 7 partition from an image backup. iTunes then now predates my iPhone. If I now sync, will itunes update its records to 4.3.2 automatically, or will there be a problem ?

I think it's best if you do the following...

Right click on your phone in iTunes and click Backup.

Right click on your phone in iTunes and click Transfer Purchases.

iTunes will now have the config for your 4.3.2 setup.

I you Sync in itunes then, the only thing that will cause you problems is the music library. If you sync it will delete everything on your phone that isn't in your iTunes library.
