Hello how are you?

I have found my old iPhone 4 today. The moment i slide to unlock, the whole iphone reboots and gets back to the lock screen. It freezes for some seconds before it reboots. Now, i restored, upgraded to iOS 6.1.1 and I have still the same error. Now it is stuck in the activation screen, and it reboots itself after some seconds. What can I do?

Thank you

Download the latest version of RedSn0w here

https://sites.google.com/a/iphone-dev.com/files/home/redsn0w_win_0.9.15b3.zip?attredirects=0&d=1

Download the iOS 6.0.1 IPSW here for the iPhone 4 that corresponds to YOUR iPhone

GSM version: http://appldnld.apple.com/iOS6/041-7950.20121101.Lmr45/iPhone3,1_6.0.1_10A523_Restore.ipsw
CDMA version: http://appldnld.apple.com/iOS6/041-7952.20121101.aClm5/iPhone3,3_6.0.1_10A523_Restore.ipsw

Run RedSn0w as administrator. Go to Extras > Even more > Restore. Select IPSW and point it to the IPSW that you downloaded above that matches your iPhone's model. For blobs, select Remote. Wait for the prompt to put the device into DFU mode. The restore should now begin and your device should be restoring.

Or if you prefer to use iTunes, still download the IPSW that matches your model above (either GSM or CDMA). Open up iTunes, put your device into DFU mode. Go to your iPhone's about tab by clicking the iPhone on the left-hand taskbar. Shift + Click Restore and point it to the IPSW that you downloaded. Wait for the restore to occur.

The iPhone needs the correct sim to "Activate" it through iTunes.... since you have already upgraded the iPhone (I'm assuming to the latest firmware) and still experiencing a reboot... try restoring through iTunes again as a NEW device....do not restore to an old backup.... worse case you may have a hardware issue..?
