Do you mean that there are randomly appearing visual distortions on the screen? Does interacting with the screen affect these distortions?
If they’re happening on their own it could be a sign of a hardware problem. If you’re close enough, a visit to an Apple Store Genius Bar for a free diagnostic would be warranted.
