The iPhone 5S is set to release sometime this Fall. Rumors have been racking up claiming that the device will launch either September or October, as per Apple's most recent iPhone release schedule. After previous rumors claiming the iPhone 5S has already gone into production, Taiwanese publication Commercial Times believe the device has hit some delays.

This isn't the first time we've heard of a delay, first being the rumored fingerprint sensor, then the rumored color choices of the device. This time around, the publication claims delays are due to Apple deciding whether or not to bump up the screen size from 4-inches to 4.3-inches. The display bump would definitely appeal to fans choosing to buy an iPhone or switch over to Android for a larger one.

The company just bumped up the display of the iPhone 5 to 4-inches, meaning developers were forced to update applications to the new resolution. The new screen bump, although not major, would mean developers would have to go through the process yet again. This doesn't seem like something Apple would do so soon, although there are a good number of iPhone owners waiting for an even larger display.

If this is true, your going to see alot of really pissed off case and accessory manufactures(moving from a 2 year cycle to a 1 year). Also a sharp decline in what will be available for the 5S compared to the 5, since the 6 would be knowingly a different phone altogether as well.

I personally dont see it happening. But you never know! Desperate times, calls for changes in strategy.
