iPhone 5 touchscreen issue

Hi,

My iphone 5 touchscreen does not work correctly, for the past few weeks every time I unlock the phone and try to enter my password random buttons are pressed. I have to lock the phone and unlock it again, and then touch screen works. Any advice?

If the phones under a year old take it to an apple store. If you have a screen protector on that could be the case. When i had a zagg on I had the same issue.
