iPhone 5 Name Confirmed by Apple Website, as Well as New iPod Touch’s existence

According to a report on AppleInsider today, there will be no chance of the sort of “but what’s it actually called though?!” confusion that occurred when the third iPad launched earlier in the year at today’s iPhone 5 launch, as Apple’s website has already given the game away about the new phone’s title, which will officially be called iPhone 5. Basically the clever people at AppleInsider decided to use the Search box on Apple’s corporate website, and found various search results relating to the iPhone 5, although the actual pages featured in the string of results are not yet active, apparently, including a press release page. Other new, but currently inactive, press releases include those relating to the new iPod touch and iPod nano, and a “new iTunes.” Usually these press releases go live when the event ends, although sometimes they get posted up sooner.
