MY jailbroke iPhone 4 is crashing it closes my apps like my pictures and Facebook and stuff it won't open them

Im running iOS 5.1 tethered and the last package was sbsettings but I remove it n it still happening I can't get into my photos

I would suggest backing up your phone and doing a full restore then re-jailbreak.http://www.iphoneforums.net/forum/members/jnlkml-55744/

Sounds like something got corrupt during the JB process. Honestly, I'd suggest a fresh restore as a new device and Jailbreak again.

I might have to, I hate too because I have a lot of stuff I dnt want to get erased

Just make sure you have things allocated to their proper places. Have your contacts synced w/ an email account, moved pics phone to your computer, etc. Reasoning behind this is if you restore from a backup chances are part of the corruption will come back w/ it.

Everything was going great but these past 2 days it has really started crashing and messing up

It's getting worse almost none of my apps work even the stock ones

Transfer stuff to comp. then restore in DFU Mode.

But I have important SMS messages I dnt want erased , how can I save them??
