iPhone 4 Contacts storage location

Hi everyone,

It might be obvious to most of you, but the phone contacts on iPhone 4 is stored in the sim card or on the device memory?

Would simply swapping the sim card between 2 iPhone 4 also transfer the contacts info over?

You will need to back them up with iTunes. Then restore them to your new phone. Because the iPhone doesn't save numbers to the sim.
