Have an older iPad 2 that is used as a security camera monitor for my security cameras. This iPad 2 sits in its stand, plugged in, and displays my video feed and has never been turned off for at least 2 years.
Yesterday a message popped up telling me to enter my apple password, then it did the same again 4 hours later, then again and again in 4 hour intervals.
Any clue why after years of 100% use am I "out-of-the-blue" being asked for my password? I haven't installed or upgrade or updated anything on this iPad for at least a year. It just sits there as a video monitor.
iPad 2 is on 8.4 firmware and jailbroken.
