ioverclock app just came on cydia,it brings cpu level to how they should be??

Sorry im new to the iphone but is it possible to turn off ioverclock once it is on? And did this overheat anyones iphone 3G/3Gs?

If you take a look at this thread you will see it is from a very very long time ago. It is really not possible to properly overclock your device (as you might a PC). All this tweak did (from memory, which may be hazy) was stop the processor slowing down when idle. It really was not an overclocker at all. I would honestly suggest you simply don't bother with it unless anyone else can tell me it provides amazing results?
