iOS5 doesn't "learn" words?

Am I missing something, or did iOS5 do away with learning words? I use Hahahahahahaha a lot, and on iOS4, after typing it a few times, it would remember it and suggest it after I typed Haha. There are a lot of other weird words I use and they aren't being remembered either.

My 4S remembers words just fine for me. It takes 3-5 times for it to not auto-correct it, and still leaves the red-underline under it, but it knows to not change it now. I do know that iOS 5 has the auto-expand option, if you go into the keyboard settings you can make it turn a few letters into an expanded one.

I don't have the 4S. I have a 4G and it's not learning any words. It worked fine on iOS4.
