iOS 5 release date?

So when will this be launched? I keep hearing fall, but then I hear end of June early July. I hope it's not fall.... Anyone know??

I think so, I don't think the iOS 5 is going to ONLY update AT&T users first, I think this is going to be a universal update.

My feeling is Verizon will be passed over on 4.3 and just get the iOS 5 update. The odds of releasing 4.3 for only about 4 months is very slim. Could be wrong, it wouldn't be a first.

That's what I was figuring. Thanks for the confirmation. I've thought about getting a developer's license on the iPhone and iPad but since the phone is technically my wife's, probably wouldn't be good for me to break it.

i was kind of expecting the same for GSM versions but maybe a 4.4 firmware.

if your not a dev i dont think there is much point in getting it because its full of bus as expected and not all features are even enabled yet.. am waiting for beta 2 to see if its any beter and if they activate itunes Sync, i really miss my jb though and apps like sbsettings

cant say i ever had a problem with it in any firmwares.

This is going to sound really stupid but are you saying I won't have to buy the iPhone 5 that I can upgrade my os on iPhone 4
