io6 deleleted ALL my contacts! Help!

Help please - I upgraded my iphone4S to io6 wirelessly today and it has deleted ALL of my cobntacts - and I had hundreds as I use it for work also. I have never set up an icloud account and when asked, I said that I would back up to a computer rather than the cloud. However, I have never syncd my contacts with any mail program.... What can I do? Where have these contacts gone?

So what you are saying is you don't back up to iTunes? If you back up to iTunes reinstall from there and upgrade to IOS6 from there. Otherwise I don't know what to tell you.

Don't forget before doing the install of IOS 6 to do another backup.

If you have Verizon do you have "VZ Contact Transfer" installed? That's the only way I know of to recover lost contacts that aren't backed up to the cloud or in iTunes. I'm sure ATT etc all have some sort of similar app too. Good Luck.
