Lost all contacts and appts.

Help!!! I tried to change my email in my iPhone settings and now all of my contacts and appointments are gone. I have not backed up to the cloud. Is there any way to retrieve my contacts and appointments??

You should never try to change your email accounts. Adding a new account is always the best way to go until everything is moved over to it and then you delete the old one. If you were using a gmail, hotmail or other web based account that has calendar and contact support, odds are your data is still safe and sound on the web. Simply readd the original account back to your iPhone and it should syncronize the information back to your phone.

Thank you for the quick response. Unfortunately, I tried to change from an account I had with a previous employer to a gmail account. I don't have the server information to restore the old account, even if it is still available.
