A company called iDevices announced today that it will be launching the world’s first wireless cooking thermometer for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad at CES in Las Vegas this January. iGrill turns your iPhone into your own personal sous-chef, enabling you to multitask between your grill or oven and your guests with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that your food is perfectly cooked, at target temperature and safe for consumption.

iGrill is the first Bluetooth and app-enabled device on the market, and comprises an iGrill thermometer with projection display and probe, and the iGrill app for your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad, which lets you know the status of your food via Bluetooth. And because the Bluetooth connection has a particularly long range (over 200 feet), it means that you can socialise with your guests while your food is cooking and don’t have to be slaving over a hot stove all the time and missing out on all the fun.
The iGrill has been shortlisted as a finalist for the Bluetooth.org’s 6th Annual Best of CES 2011 Awards - Innovator of the Year, which will be announced at CES in Las Vegas from January 6-9, 2011.

You can order iGrill now for $99.99 by clicking here: Introducing the iGrill, a revolutionary grilling app or grilling iphone app that is a cooking application with iphone recipes and grilling videos. and it's also available to buy in Apple Stores in North America.

Looks cool. I will wait for those reviews to come in from the software updates. 

Interesting but I already have a digital thermometer and it works just fine. Wasn't 100 dollars either.
