Image inversion occurs on transfer from 5s to PC.

Image orientation OK on phone storage

Can you help me correct my problem?
My 5s is my first Apple experience

That will happen if you have the phone turned with the home button to the left when you take the picture in landscape orientation. The picture will show up correctly when viewed on the phone, but will be inverted on your computer. It will also get confused if you're in portrait orientation and have the home button at the top when you take the picture. Try turning the phone so the home button is to the right, or to the bottom. You don't happen to be left-handed do you?

I solved problem. Need to use Quick Time or iTunes to open file. I had been using FastSone for image opening.

Maybe this will help another neophyte.

Thank you very much for your solution. I now understand the reason for the inversion; far better than my continuing on with my 'workaround' solution.

I also appreciate, and Like your promptness in responding to an oldster (I'll be 80 in May.)
