Hi everyone I got my iphone 4 today and have it set up and running.
However the phone has already been registerd with iTunes. My problem is how can I de-register it and then do it in my name?

Any help will be most gratefully recieved.

1) You can create your own apple i.d.
https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/wa/createAppleId?localang=en_US

Or

2) change the name of the device using iTunes.

Plug the iPhone into your computer
Launch iTunes
Click and hover on the iPhones name in the iTunes sidebar until the familiar renaming highlighter comes up
Type in the new name of the iPhone and hit return

Thanks for the help guys I had just sign the old account out and then created my own. I'm sure it was a fluke though.
