Backing up to change SIM

Hi,

My Phone is an iPhone 4

I have to change my SIM card to transfer to a new provider.

I have been told to back up the phone to iTunes.

I have syncronised the phone and I have transfered purchases from iphone

However my iPhone tells me I have 1581 Tunes, iTunes only shows 322.

Am I doing something wrong?

How do I transfer the rest of the tunes to iTunes so they will be there when I do a restore to the new SIM?

Any help would be appreciated

You do not need to connect to iTunes in order to change the sim card in your iPhone.

Hi,

That's what I thought.

The tunes would b in phone memory and not in the SIM.

But it still puzzles me why phone has 1550 tunes, but iTunes only has 322?
