I wrote the html and css for my new website. When I had finished that I went to W3C to check validation and fix any errors. When that was done, just for kicks, I checked the main pages of Amazon, Dropbox, Facebook, Google, Paypal, and Twitter.. they all failed - and Amazon had a whopping 371 errors.
I'm guessing HTML/CSS validation is a thing of the past. If the big websites don't care why should anyone else?
