How To Remove Black Box Behind Icons

I've made my own icons for my iPhone 4 and replaced the camera and contacts icon with no problem but when I tried to replace the MLB At Bat icon it has a black box behind the new icon.....also when I move one of the new icons down to the bottom dock a black box appears? Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you!!!!
