how to recover media in recovery mode iphone

hi all,,,

I really need help and suggestion to the problem that i face this morning. I've just updated my iOs to 6.1.3 ,
but then it was on the recovery mode. I haven't back up everything, and now my iphone need to restore. Can i save
the media (photo) before i restore the phone in iTunes.
