I want to know how to do it from my macbook.

what do i need to Download and etc...

Ive seen youtube videos that you can do it without a computer but they dont seem to work at all what so ever...

There is plenty of advice on the internet on jailbreaking, but keep in mind your phone will be a lot less secure if you go down that route.

There are lots of scam sites, describing the jailbreaking process and offering a jailbreak for software that can't be jailbroken. Just remember: a jailbreak is free. As soon as you have to pay for it, it's scam.

Afaik, this will work the same on Mac and PC.
