How to back up iphone data

The Apple iPhone syncs with Apple iTunes to transfer data including audio, video, notes, apps, contacts and settings. With so much data being stored on the iPhone, it is essential to regularly back up the data in the event of a hard drive crash or phone malfunction. Luckily, iTunes provides a means of doing so as well.
1.Connect your iPhone to your computer using the supplied USB cable.
2.Run iTunes if it does not start automatically.
3.Right-click on the iPhone located under the devices heading and click "Back Up."
