hi everyone boy ilove to hate my iphone lol i was wondering if any one else has had the same fault as me ....
when i plugged my iphone 3g 4.2.1 into my pc it started to smoke and now it wont charge at all hopefully this is not a dear fix lol

hi thanks for the quick reply with regards to your question no it has no water damage nothing at at all i litterally had it on mains charge then i woke up and went to put tunes on it aso i pluged it in to my pc and then as soon as i did it started smoking from the usb port on the phone now it is refusing to charge full stop it wont accept ANY form of charge .hope this gives you more idea lol

Welcome to the iPhone forums! Wow, that happened to my friend before. She was using authentic Apple charging products and they smoked up too. Guess you should buy a new charger and see if your iPhone will still charge with it. Good luck to you!

hoo i see. If you are still having the warranty then i will simply advice you to go the the purchase place for a repair or an exchange of the cable or of the phone. Good luck.

thanks for all the replies howeveer i bought the phone from a friend so close but no cigar on the warrenty lol as for the charger well i have had it plugged into the repair shop's charger and still no go i think the charging board may of fried so may require a new board i will post back when i know
