I'm new here...
I came over to Apple devices when the iPhone 4 came out.
Prior to that, I wasn't impressed. The first retina screen got me!

Been programming personal stuff for iOS for nearly a year, and looking to get my first app
into App Store, although the current App in review might not make it for several reasons...

Now got iPhone 5, iPad 3rd Gen, Mac Mini.

I'd love to jailbreak it, but I didn't think it would take this long for iPhone 5

For now, If I want something done, I have to write the app myself.

What does developer cracked mean? I'm a registered developer.
Does that help me run MAME on an iPhone 5 when I do not have the iOS source code to compile it myself?

Developer cracked iPhones basically refers to iPhones that have had their cores and system files modified to basically 'do your bidding'. It's the 'original jailbreak' if you will, where you can tweak and mod your device as you wish but everything is done manually.
