if you jailbreak you can use an app called BiteSMS and add signatures to your text messages

Jailbreak is the ability to install apps that apple dont approve of. you download these apps from an app like app store but called cydia.

just make sure your on the right firmware that you dont rely on unlock do you?

tap on Settings > general > about. and in there you should see firmware version. what does it say there?

It says 05.15.04

thats the baseband version..

the firmware version says Version:... i am guessing it will either be 4.2.1 or 4.3.1

That was the modem firmware, the version says 4.2.1
