Help! phone shut down, will not start

I upgraded to IOS5 yesterday, all was fine. Used Iphone this morning, went to use again and it was dead! No power, will not turn on, battery was at 70%. Any thoughts? Thanks

Hi connect your phone to iTunes see if it picks up your phone. If it does try's restore

Hold the power and home button for about a minute. That should bring it back up.

Happened to me yesterday a coulpe of hours after upgrading to 5.0.1...evrythig was working fine and sundently it shuts down...did the power+home button and it worked...but still trying to understand why did it happen

Can't help you with understanding...lol....my iPhone did it before ios5 a couple of times. There are threads on other forums discussing it that's how I knew how to fix it
