Okayy do I have my iPod touch 4g updated to ios 5 and now my mic don't work that good is anyone else having problems like this or can you help me

No issue on my iPod. Go ahead and restore (previously stated by iCrank). If that fails, it could potentially be hardware failure.

By the way, a title such as "My iPod touch 4G mic is not working after update". Something along those lines could get you more help. This is also iPhoneForums.
