HBO GO for iOS Updated with a Fresh Design, Becomes Identical to HBO Now

HBO has recently released its new HBO Now app for its new $14.99/month standalone streaming service, and now the company updated its main HBO GO app with the familiar design. Thus, HBO GO users will no longer be envious of those who are using HBO Now. The official changelog of the new 3.0.0 version sounds like this:

• Introduced a new enhanced design experience focused on ease of navigation and application usability
• Minor bug fixes

As you probably know, the HBO Now app gives iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV users access to the network’s shows for $14.99/month while HBO GO is for subscribers through cable companies and also requires authentication of a TV provider account.
