Having problems with itunes 64 bit 10.5

It keeps saying reinstall because all the necissary software didnt properly install. ive done that over 10 times easily. What is the prob with apple? I just want to sync my iphone 4s, and it says the required software didnt install correctly. here is an error message for just installing itunes (127). please help

Hi welcome to the forum that is unfortunate about itunes not working for you....

I had the same problem last year when i got the iPhone 4 when it came out anyway here is the instructions i used to get mine to work:-

As hinted in the other replies, the apple support software is out of whack. Use the iTunes installer to remove iTunes, then use your control panel add/remove programs to remove the Apple updater, support software, and quickTime (basically anything with Apple in the name). The iTunes installer will put them all back.
Run a good quality registry cleaner for good measure to clean up any mess left behind. Now re-install iTunes with the same installer you started with.
I guess the iTunes installer could have used a bit more testing to detect and fix this. Anyhow this procedure fixed this problem for me.​

This fixed my 127 error.

I used ccleaner for the registry cleaning it's free and it does quite a good job of cleaning the registry.

Please let me know if this has sorted out your problem out aswell
