Has anyone successfully downgraded from 4.2.9 to 4.28 or 4.2.6

i have very much appreciated all the ideas but, i have been unsuccessful
at performing a downgrade from 4.2.9 to 4.2.8 or 4.2.6 (i have shsh saved to my home directory on my mac..)


has anyone been successful at performing this operation?

f4780y posted a fix earlier today. I was able to downgrade back to 4.2.8

If I have a 4.2.9 iphone and it's never been jailbroken (meaning, I have no shsh files saved), is there any way to downgrade to 4.2.8 so I can jailbreak?

No. Without SHSH you cannot downgrade. Sorry.

I get error 3194 when I try to start the downgrade, so no.
